About Us :
Rooted in a strong legacy of service since 1997, the Maliku Development Society works tirelessly for the social, educational, and cultural advancement of the Maliku/Minicoy community. Inspired by the visionary leadership of late Mr. M. Ali Ismail Umeri and the guiding wisdom of Dr. K.K. Domthakuru, the Society has remained committed to empowering individuals, strengthening educational institutions, promoting youth leadership, preserving cultural values, and supporting the welfare of the underprivileged. Under the present leadership of Chairman Mr. P.V. Mohammed, MDS continues to foster unity, inclusive growth, and sustainable development, while preparing the community to meet future challenges with confidence and responsibility.

Our museum showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Maliku/Minicoy Islands. With a collection of artifacts, exhibits, and interactive displays, we aim to preserve and promote our unique history and traditions.
